Strengths of GL FILM

Outstanding barrier performance

Contents are protected from changes such as moisture absorption, drying, and decomposition, and aroma retention helps to maintain the value of products over long periods. Odor transfer can also be prevented, and since the impact of temperature and humidity on barrier performance is minimal, GL FILM can be used in any type of environment.

Eco-friendly

No chlorine-based gas is generated by incineration and almost no residue is produced. Total waste volume can also be reduced due to the absence of aluminum in the film’s structure.

Highly transparent

Defects in the seal section can be detected during filling. Being able to show contents to the consumer can also enhance product appeal.

Non-metallic

Metal detectors, microwave ovens and IC tags can be used. GL FILM also has excellent flex resistance.

  • *Food can be microwave-heated while still in the pouch.
  • *Radio wave communication by items such as IC tags is not inhibited.
  • *X-ray inspection of products in packaged form is possible. Detection of metallic foreign materials is easy.

Diverse lineup

We provide not only films that provide an alternative to aluminum foil, but also grades that use nylon as the base material. These grades demonstrate the highest level oxygen barrier performance for nylon-based barrier films as well as outstanding aroma retention and flex resistance.
